Who we are…
Saba and Dee - we are a pair of sisters from New Jersey who love being able to express our mosaic of experiences through our fashion. On one hand, we love the clean, polished glamour of NYC, and at the same time, we embrace the bold confidence and vibrancy of our rich South Asian fashion heritage. These two worlds unite to form a genuinely new experience that is a blend of these two worlds manifested into our designs. This combination of identities defines who we are. We started Kin & Cabana By Ali because we wanted to create styles that are elegant and empowering and prove that modest fashion does not need to be uninspiring and one-note. At the same time, we strive to challenge the overall luxury fashion scene to push boundaries and not be so afraid of taking chances.

How do the sizes run?
The pieces are generally true to size except where noted.
For example, for a more modest and comfortable fit we recommend ordering a size up for the Beaded Vests.
Do you create custom pieces?
Our current collection is all Ready to Wear (RTW) however we can customize certain elements of some pieces. For example, for some pieces, we may be able to develop special colors with you if we are provided sufficient time. Please message us with "special order" in the title.
Can you reproduce an item that you have discontinued?
Given that our business model is about offering unique pieces that are not mass-produced, we only make a limited amount of most designs intentionally. However, we may have the flexibility to produce something again depending on what it is. Feel free to message us and we will do our best to accommodate!
Do you alter or tailor garments for customers?
We are pleased to work with a trusted partner Tad More Tailoring for your alteration needs. They are located in Chicago but work with clients nationwide.
